Yes. That’s me pictured above on the right! I am the owner of Training by Nelle LLC and I’m a bit of an enthusiast for all things employee development related - coaching, learning / training and development, mentorship, etc.
I have a BH in Communications and a MS in Organizational Development & Leadership, and I'm all about innovation and delivering a fresh approach to training - a true disrupter, if you will.
I was inspired to create the Training by Nelle workshops because of my passion for helping others reach their full potential through leadership oriented activities and soft skills development and coaching.
But I wanted to deliver that value in a captivating, more non-traditional way.
I’ve sat in on countless (and I mean countless) instructor-led workshops on development topics of all kinds, but always felt like something was missing… After awhile all the workshops seemed to start looking the same: same techniques, same settings, and the same repetitive off-the-shelf material. I’d sit and wonder, where was the creativity and imagination, especially given all of the tools and resources out there? This isn’t how it should be.
I wanted to do something different. Evoke energy, enthusiasm, and higher levels of engagement that put the learner in the driver seat. I wanted to deliver an experience that was personalized and customized to the participant because learning wasn’t a one-size-fits all deal.
I wanted to develop workshops where people could connect - physically - and not hide behind technology to avoid personal communication or use it to mask problems. I wanted to create a learning environment that was welcoming, attractive, and addressed the relevant areas emerging professionals are looking to improve on.
And so, Training by Nelle was born - a sophisticated and branded blend of employee development workshops. And the rest is history…
